Mason Herring - Of Counsel

Mason Herring grew up in the greater Houston area, and graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science. He earned his Doctor of Jurisprudence from South Texas College of Law, where he distinguished himself as a Dean’s Scholar and was honored for his pretrial advocacy work. Upon graduation, he was fortunate enough to work for The Honorable S. Maurice Hicks in the Western District of Louisiana – Shreveport Division, gaining insight into federal trial practices.

After working for the federal judiciary, he became a litigation practitioner in Houston, Texas, where he litigated on behalf of individuals facing adversity. He joined Craft Law Firm, P.C. in 2015, serving as Of Counsel to the litigation boutique.

Licensed to practice in all Texas state and federal courts, New Mexico, District of Columbia, and the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals, Mr. Herring’s clients have called him their “go-to lawyer in the Permian Basin and Eagle Ford Shale.” Mr. Herring believes in relentlessly advocating on behalf of his clients, and knows the value of communication – both with his clients and opposing counsel. As an Eagle Scout he learned the value of always being prepared, and is ready to dig into the details of a case to find the best solutions for his clients. In recognition of his work, he has been named a Texas Super Lawyers Rising Stars Honoree every year since 2014.
